The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) allows beneficiaries of the SASSA R350 grant to receive the grant in various ways. Sassa grant eneficiaries can claim their grants at bank ATMs, the post office, merchants, and retail stores such as PicknPay and Boxer.

New SASSA Applicants (with personal bank accounts)

SASSA R350 Grant applicants with a bank account and willing to receive their payment through the bank are to follow the steps below in order to submit their bank account as a payment method.

  1. Choose your bank name
  2. Provide account number
  3. Provide branch name 
  4. Provide account type 
  5. Agree to terms and conditions 
  6. Submit banking details

Department tells Those in need to Reapply for SASSA R350 SRD Grant

For Clients without personal bank accounts

Applicants without a bank account will need to select cash payment when filing their application.

  • Choose Payment option – Cash Send
  • Agree to Terms and Conditions
  • Click submit 

Existing Clients (confirming existing banking details)

  1. Agree to Terms and Conditions
  2. Click ‘submit’

 

Clients with Cash send Option who want to add their bank details

  • Choose bank Name
  • Provide account number
  • Provide branch name
  • Provide account type
  • Agree to Terms and Conditions
  • Submit banking details
