Department Of Water And Sanitation Roodeplaat, The Roodeplaat Training Centre situated next to the Roodeplaat Dam (Pretoria) was established in 1977, to serve as a technical training facility for the staff within the Department of Water Affairs.



Due to the high demand by external customers the training centre was opened to be used by other government departments, organs of state and community based organisations.

The Roodeplaat Training Centre is ideal as it offers low tariffs on its services as compared to other centres. The services offered include conferences, meals and accommodation.

CONFERENCING

The Roodeplaat Training Centre has eight lecture rooms that can accommodate approximately 160 trainees. It also has a computer training room that can accommodate approximately 35 computer trainees. The conference rooms are fully equipped.

There is the banqueting (kitchen) team that can provide meals for attendees during the conferences/workshops. Currently, they provided on average 110 meals per day but can provide up to 200 when necessary. The centre also has a Lapa with a braai area where people can relax after hard day’s work.



ACCOMMODATION

Roodeplaat Training Centre is the number one place for business offers to accommodate 72 people in its chalets. Each chalet consists of 8 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Each room is furnished with 2 beds and can be used as double or single accommodation.
