Department Of Tourism Eastern Cape Vacancies, The vision of the Eastern Cape Parks and Tourism Agency (ECPTA) is to be a province where responsible tourism and conservation underpin sustainable development of the Eastern Cape.



The Agency’s mission is that the ECPTA will become the premier conservation and tourism agency by actively pursuing equitable low-carbon economic growth through innovation and collaboration in these sectors. The Agency’s goal is to leverage resources for tourism and conservation priorities with respect, integrity and responsibility.

The constitutional mandate of the ECPTA states that everyone has the right to have the environment protected, for the benefit of present and future generations, through reasonable legislative and other measures that prevent pollution and ecological degradation, promote conservation, and secure ecologically sustainable development and use of natural resources while promoting justifiable economic and social development.
