Department Of Sport And Recreation South Africa Internship, Work Integrated Learning – N6 (TVET College Placement) – This is a 12 – 18 month workplace experience program designed for candidates who have completed a NQF Level 6 qualification and need practical experience to enable them to obtain their qualification or employment. 



Proposed qualifications needed: – NQF level 6:- Generic Management (Finance, Human Resources, Supply Chain, Information Technology, Internal Audit, Legal, Sport and Recreation).

Work Integrated Learning – N6 (University Placement) – This is a 6 – 12 month workplace experience program, designed for candidates who require practical experience to complete their qualification at University or University of Technology. 



Proposed qualifications needed: – NQF level 6:- Generic Management (Finance, Human Resources, Supply Chain, Information Technology, Internal Audit, Legal, Sport and Recreation).

Internship Programme – This is a 12-month workplace experience program, designed for candidates who have already completed a NQF level 5 to 8 qualification at a University or University of Technology that is relevant to employment in the CATHSSETA sector but have not yet gathered the necessary practical experience to enable them to obtain employment. 

Proposed qualifications needed: – NQF levels 5 – 8:- Generic Management (Finance, Human Resources, Supply Chain, Information Technology, Internal Audit, Legal, Sport and Recreation – Administration, Sport management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Sports Facilities planning, technical, development and management).



Please note: All candidates must be South African Citizens or Permanent Residents. Students must have a qualification from or be studying at an accredited public university/ tertiary institution.

Applications must be submitted on Form Z.83, obtainable from any Public Service department which must be originally signed and dated by the candidates and should be accompanied by a comprehensive CV indicating at least three (3) reference persons (name and contact numbers as well as an indication of the capacity in which the reference is known to the candidate).

Originally certified copies of the matric certificate as well as a statement of results (University and/ or College), obtained qualifications related to the work integrated learning and/ or internship programmes and identity document. Certification of these documents must not be older than six (6) months. Failure to comply with the above instruction will result in applications being disqualified. It is the candidate’s responsibility to have foreign qualifications evaluated by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) and to provide proof of such evaluation.
