Department Of Cooperative Governance And Traditional Affairs Mpumalanga Vacancies, The mission of the Mpumalanga Department of Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs is to coordinate, support, monitor and strengthen an integrated cooperative governance system.
The Department’s strategic goals are to: provide political strategic management, and administrative guidance and support to all the programmes of the Department; build a clean, effective, efficient, responsive and accountable local government; strengthen partnerships between local government, communities and civil society; ensure that municipalities meet the basic service needs of communities; strengthen the institutions of traditional leadership to fulfil their mandate; and exercise oversight and participate in the legislations of the Provincial Legislature.
