Department Of Home Affairs Fnb

Department Of Home Affairs Fnb, First National Bank is one of South Africa’s “big four” banks. It is a division of First Rand Limited, a large financial services conglomerate, which trades on the Johannesburg Securities Exchange (JSE), under the symbol: FSR. FNB is also listed on the Botswana Stock Exchange under the symbol FNBB and is a constituent of the BSE Domestic Company Index.

In a statement issued to clients, FNB outlines how South Africans can apply for identity documents and Passports from its network. The internet powered process represents the deepening of public e-services and the deepening of a partnership between the government and the private sector in the delivery of public services.

The statement noted that tales of waiting in long queues at Home Affairs are a thing of the past. Clients can now apply for Smart IDs and Passports at selected FNB branches. They can also do the same for their children. Department of Home Affairs has partnered with FNB and several other banks (Standard Bank, Nedbank, Absa), to make this process much easier.

The process is simple and convenient. Register, book your appointment, and capture your payment banking details on the Department of Home Affairs website, then login to FNB Online Banking to approve the payment.
